Prior to leaving the factory, Yunnan Zhaotong EVA waterproof membranes should have a 15-cm EVA base material pre-extended on both sides of each sheet. Within this extension, the geotextile and adhesive layer are removed to facilitate seamless on-site welding. The overlap width between the two membrane layers must be at least 15 cm.
After completing the welding work, apply a layer of rubberized asphalt non-curing waterproof coating (50 cm wide, 2 mm thick) to the overlapping area, and then use double-sided self-adhesive waterproof sheets—cut to a width of at least 50 cm—to seal the weld joints completely.
