Anti-crystallization blind pipe

Blind drains are highly efficient drainage materials made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP). Featuring corrugated pipe walls with uniformly distributed perforations, they are encased in a non-woven geotextile filter layer. Widely used in road construction, tunnel projects, slope stabilization, and landscaping, blind drains effectively manage groundwater through infiltration and drainage, preventing water accumulation that could lead to structural damage due to seepage pressure—and ultimately ensuring the safety and integrity of engineering projects.

Detailed description

Product Introduction:

Blind drains are highly efficient drainage materials made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP). Featuring corrugated pipe walls with evenly distributed perforations, they are encased in a non-woven geotextile filter layer. Widely used in road construction, tunnels, slope stabilization projects, and landscaping applications, blind drains effectively prevent water accumulation by allowing groundwater to seep through and drain away, thereby protecting structures from damage caused by seepage pressure and ensuring the overall safety of engineering projects.

Product advantages:

Efficient drainage and anti-clogging: The outer geotextile layer filters silt and sediment, while its perforated design and corrugated structure significantly enhance water conductivity (up to 0.5 m³/s·m²), ensuring long-term prevention of clogging and stable, reliable drainage.

Pressure and corrosion resistant: Ring stiffness ≥ 4 kN/㎡, resistant to acid, alkali, and salt erosion, suitable for environments ranging from -40°C to 60°C, with a lifespan exceeding 30 years.

Easy and flexible construction: Highly flexible and easy to bend, allowing it to adapt to complex terrains; simple connections via socketing or heat fusion—no maintenance required—and offering low overall costs.
