Tunnel waterproofing is a key component of tunnel engineering's drainage and water-proofing plan. If the surface waterproofing of a tunnel is inadequate, groundwater can seep in, compromising operations and shortening the tunnel's service life. Among these solutions, waterproofing sheets—made from high-molecular polymers as their primary material—are widely used in railway tunnel construction. These sheets not only effectively prevent liquid leakage but also guard against gas diffusion, making them an ideal choice for ensuring long-term tunnel integrity and performance.

Yunnan Lincang Tunnel Waterproof Board Product Category:

① Classified by color, Yunnan Lincang Tunnel Waterproof Board Available: Gray-black waterproof board, milky white (porcelain white) waterproof board, and translucent white waterproof board.

② Classified according to processing techniques and types of construction work, Yunnan Lincang Tunnel Waterproof Board Divided into: fully composite waterproof boards, strip-type composite waterproof boards, and spot-tested composite waterproof boards—plus their corresponding suspension-type waterproof boards.

(PS: Composite waterproof membrane—typically made with short-fiber needle-punched geotextile, weighing between 200 and 400 g/㎡)

Yunnan Lincang Tunnel Waterproof Board Construction Technology:

① The waterproof panels are simply self-made and laid onto the vehicle body, which is 6 meters long. Before installation, the panels are pre-cut to the total width specified in the design outside the tunnel, then bonded together into block-shaped units. Ensure the adhesion is strong, and each joint must be compacted at least six times for optimal bonding.

② Waterproof boards are installed prior to the secondary lining construction. For laying and securing the boards, a nail-free suspension system is used to ensure optimal alignment and overall precision. During installation, mark the positions on the existing anchor rod supports according to the locations of the suspension straps attached to the back of the waterproof boards. Next, use an electric drill to create holes, insert expansion wood screws, and then attach hooks directly onto the screws. The placement of the wood screws must account for the required embedding depth of the waterproof boards.

Yunnan Lincang Tunnel Waterproof Board The material is a high-quality, internationally recognized choice for producing waterproof membranes. It boasts a molecular weight ranging from 20,000 to 50,000. Its performance can be finely tuned by adjusting the proportion of vinyl acetate content, allowing the product to meet the specific demands of various applications. Featuring exceptional flexibility, cold resistance, elasticity, and stress-crack resistance, it also has a lightweight profile—making it particularly well-suited for waterproofing the inner surfaces of arched structures.
