Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile Also known as polyester filament needle-punched nonwoven geotextile, it contains no chemical additives and undergoes no heat treatment, making it an environmentally friendly construction material widely used in hydraulic engineering, airport infrastructure, and electrical engineering projects. Below, we’ll introduce the characteristics and functional benefits of Zhejiang Shaoxing filament geotextiles.

Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile Performance features: It can replace traditional engineering materials and construction methods, ensuring safer construction practices while also contributing to environmental protection. This approach provides a more economical, efficient, and durable solution to fundamental challenges in engineering projects.

Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile It boasts excellent mechanical performance, superior water permeability, and strong resistance to corrosion and aging. It provides functions such as isolation, filtration, drainage, protection, stabilization, and reinforcement, making it adaptable to uneven substrates while effectively resisting external forces during construction. Additionally, it exhibits minimal creep, ensuring that its original functionality is maintained even under prolonged loading conditions.

Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile The main functions are:

1. Qiang is strong and durable, thanks to the use of plastic flat yarns, which maintain excellent strength and elongation both in dry and wet conditions.

2. Corrosion-resistant, maintaining long-lasting durability in soils and water of varying pH levels.

3. It has excellent permeability due to the spaces between the flat filaments, resulting in superior water-drainage performance.

4. Excellent antimicrobial properties ensure it remains unaffected by microorganisms and insect damage.

5. Easy to construct: Thanks to its lightweight and flexible material, it’s convenient for transportation, laying, and installation.

6. Complete range of specifications: Available in widths up to 6 meters—currently the widest product available in China.

Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile Functional Role:

1. Isolation: This involves using geotextiles to separate construction materials with distinct physical properties (such as particle size, distribution, consistency, and density)—for example, soil from sand, sand from gravel, or soil from concrete. The purpose is to prevent the loss or mixing of these materials while preserving their individual structure and functionality, thereby enhancing the overall load-bearing capacity of the constructed structure.

2. Filtration: When water flows from a fine-grained soil layer into a coarse-grained one, the needle-punched geotextile’s excellent air permeability and water conductivity allow the water to pass through while effectively trapping soil particles, fine sand, small gravel, and other materials—thus maintaining the stability of the water and soil engineering project.

3. Drainage: Geotextiles are excellent water-conducting materials that can create drainage channels within soil structures, effectively removing excess liquids and gases from the interior of the soil system.

4. Reinforcement: Use geotextiles to enhance the tensile strength and deformation resistance of soil, thereby improving the stability of building structures and enhancing overall soil quality.

5. Protection: Effectively disperses, transfers, or dissipates concentrated stress, preventing soil failure under external forces.

6. Sealing: Geotextiles, when combined with other materials (such as asphalt or plastic membranes), create an impermeable barrier within the soil layers. (Primarily used for highway resurfacing, repairs, and similar applications).

Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile Pre-construction preparation work:

1. Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile The paving is carried out using the manual roll-laying method, ensuring the fabric surface remains smooth while allowing for appropriate deformation allowances.

2. Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile Sewing is performed using a portable sewing machine, with stitch spacing maintained at approximately 6 mm. The sewing method for the upper geotextile layer must ensure that its seam strength is at least 70% of the geotextile's inherent strength.

3. Zhejiang Shaoxing Longfilament Geotextile The splicing uses a stitching method, with a seam width of at least 0.10 meters.

4. All stitching must be continuous; spot stitching is not permitted. The minimum distance between stitches and the fabric edge is 2.50 cm.

5. The thread used for stitching should be made of resin material with a minimum tensile strength exceeding 60 N, and it must possess chemical resistance and UV protection capabilities equal to or greater than those of the geotextile.

6. If there are defects in the stitching, such as skipped stitches, it is necessary to carefully re-stitch and repair the affected area at the seam junction.
