Next, carry out shear and peel tests on the weld seam using a tensile testing machine. If the results meet or exceed the specified values, lock in the parameters and proceed with the official welding process. If not, re-adjust the parameters and repeat the tests until the samples pass inspection. Additionally, when there are significant changes in temperature or wind speed, promptly modify the parameters and retest to ensure that the welding equipment’s performance, site conditions, and product quality all comply with the relevant standards during construction.

The criteria for evaluating whether the trial weld is successful or not are as follows: When performing shear and peel tests on the bonded weld seam, only the film should tear—there must be no failure at the weld joint itself.
6. Horizontal joints must be located less than 1.5 meters away from the slope toe and areas subject to high pressure.
