1. Guizhou Tongren HDPE Geomembrane for Impermeable Linings Anchor fastening
1. There are many methods of anchoring: including groove anchoring, nail-driven anchoring, expansion bolt anchoring, and fixing with pre-embedded components, among others. Wastewater tanks typically use either pre-embedded components or expansion pressure strips for securement.
2. The width of the pressure strip must be at least 2 cm, and its thickness should not be less than 2 mm. The spacing between expansion bolts should not exceed 600 mm, and exposed areas of the pressure strip must be treated with anti-corrosion measures.
3. The bolt diameter shall be no less than 4 mm, and the spacing between bolts should not exceed 0.5 mm. During construction, first use the prepared sandbags to temporarily secure the positioned membrane, preventing strong winds from shifting or displacing the HDPE membrane, before proceeding with the expansion bolt anchoring process.
4. If the embedded components have already been installed in the pool, simply use an extrusion welding machine to weld the membrane onto the HDPE embedded parts.

2. Guizhou Tongren HDPE Geomembrane for Impermeable Linings Construction Safety Precautions
1. During use, keep the power cords of the heat gun, grinding wheel, and welding machine as far away as possible from their working areas to prevent damage to the wires and avoid electric leakage.
2. Except for hot-air welding, the nozzle of the heat gun must never come into contact with the HDPE film under any circumstances, and should be kept as far away as possible from the film, human bodies, machinery, and other objects.
3. When not in use, the welding machine must not be placed directly on the HDPE membrane surface; instead, it should be positioned on a stand or secured with sandbags.
4. After using the film cutter, the blade should be immediately returned to the blade holder.
5. All kinds of temporary, small tools used on-site should be promptly returned to the toolbox after use.
6. It is strictly prohibited to directly discard solder materials removed from the extrusion welding gun tip onto the geomembrane surface.
7. Guizhou Tongren HDPE Geomembrane for Impermeable Linings No smoking is allowed at the construction site. Visitors must refrain from wearing shoes with metal nails or high-heeled, hard-soled footwear on the membrane surface. Additionally, any activities that could potentially damage the finished geomembrane are strictly prohibited.
3. Guizhou Tongren HDPE Geomembrane for Impermeable Linings Finished Product Inspection and Repair
1. The inspection is carried out in three steps: visual inspection, inflation test, and destructive testing.
2. Visual inspection primarily involves a thorough examination of the laid geomembrane’s appearance, weld quality, T-joint integrity, and any debris on the substrate. All construction personnel should integrate this task into every stage of the entire construction process.
3. In addition to visual inspection, vacuum testing and pressure testing can also be used if necessary. For the inflation pressure test, the inflation pressure should be set at 0.25 MPa, with no air leakage detected over a 5-minute period. Considering that the roll material is relatively soft and prone to deformation, a 20% allowable pressure drop is permitted.
4. During the tensile test (failure test), the standard is that, in peel and shear tests, the weld seam should not tear—only the base material should fail by being pulled apart. If this condition is met, the weld is considered合格 (qualified).
5. During visual inspection, if defects such as pinholes are found on the membrane surface—or in cases of incomplete welding, false soldering, or damage occurring during the welding process—immediate repairs using fresh base material are required. Each repair patch should extend 10–20 cm beyond the damaged area on all sides.
